Tallahassee Subaru Dealership Hosts Event to Benefit Local Non-Profits

May 18, 2010

Tallahassee Subaru dealership, Proctor Subaru, invites the entire area to participate in “The Great Adventure,” an interactive tour of five local businesses on Saturday, May 22 to benefit local non-profit organizations.

Since opening in 1910, the Proctor dealerships have provided residents of Tallahassee, Valdosta, Panama City and the neighboring communities with 100 years of quality vehicles and the best in customer service.

The Great Adventure will run from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m, with participants following clues to lead them between Open House events at the local businesses.  Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m.

Full details on The Great Adventure are available at: http://www.proctorsubaru.com/the-great-adventure.htm

After visiting each location and returning to Proctor Subaru, they will be treated to a delicious lunch catered by Red Elephant and have the opportunity to take part several activities, including prize drawings and a ribbon-cutting ceremony by The Greater Tallahassee Area Chamber of Commerce.

The best part is that each adult participant who completes the adventure will be given a $25 contribution to one of the following local non-profit groups: Big Bend Cares, American Lung Association, Leon County Humane Society, Elder Care Services, or the C.O.C.A (Council on Cultural & Arts).

Not only will participants have a great time, but they will also be supporting a very deserving local cause in the process.  Proctor Subaru values the community and the impact organizations like these can have on everyone living in the area.

You participate.  We donate.  Like everything at Proctor Subaru, that’s happy.

Visit Proctor Subaru on Saturday for The Great Adventure at 1707 Capital Circle N.E. just north of the Mahan and Capital Circle intersection.
